Huawei Mate 11 Release Date, Specs, Features and Price
Mate 11 is the upcoming flagship phablet from Huawei and the successor of Mate 10. Huawei is going to release the Mate 10 phablet in October 2017. The Mate 11 phablet probably come in October or November 2018. Huawei Mate 11 will come with the elegant features like EntireView Display, Emotion UI 7.0, 4K Screen and so on. Exclusive Features of Huawei Mate 11
Huawei recently got the patent for its bezel less design, which is nicknamed as EntireView Display. It is similar to LG’s Full vision display and Samsung’s Infinity Display. Huawei will reveal full details of Entire View Display in coming days. The successor of Mate 10 may sport 6 inch IPS LCD display with 4K Resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. A few reports from the chinese blogging site, Weibo, indicates that Huawei will release the next year phablet with 4K Display. The Corning Gorilla Glass 5 will protect the display of Mate 11.
In Huawei Mate 10, the company employed the Dual Camera (12MP+20MP) setup on the rear side along with Leica optics. The Camera setup got very good response from reviewers and consumers. The quality of pictures and videos taken by Mate 10 is on par with those taken with Galaxy S8 and iPhone X.
Now according to leaks the Pro model of Huawei P20 is coming with Triple Camera setup on the rear side to further improve the quality and Bokeh effect. We will see the Leica co-developed 40MP Triple sensor system for superior picture experience in P20. The leaked renders of P20 show off the vertical and horizontal arrangements of sensors on the rear side of the device.
So Huawei Mate 11/20 whatever the name, will also feature the Triple Camera sensor system similar to that of P20. The successor of Mate 10 will feature software and Camera optimization better than P20. Huawei Mate 10 is powered by the Hisilicon Kirin 970 chipset. So the Kirin 980 SoC may power the Mate 11 flagship. The full details about Kirin 980 SoC haven’t revealed yet but it might contain an Octa Core CPU, Cat. 18 LTE modem and Mali GPU.
According to some rumours, next flagship CPU from HiSilicon will be built on 7nm process. So it seems that HiSilicon is going to release implement 7nm process in its CPUs before Samsung and Qualcomm. Because of 7nm process, we will see massive increase in performance and also power efficiency. The GPU of HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset will also be very powerful, according to rumours. The successor of Mate 10 may come with 6GB Ram and 128 GB Internal memory. The flagship also may feature 3.5 mm Headphone jack and microSD support.
The next Mate flagship from Huawei may come with Oreo which is the latest flavour of Android. Due to many performance improvements, Android Oreo makes device boot almost twice as fast and also provides fluid like experience to users. In the eighth major iteration of Android, Google made many refinements to launch swiftly by clearing the app cache automatically. Huawei unveiled Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro flagships with 5.9 inch LCD Display with QHD resolution. The flagship comes with Android 8.0 Oreo OS and EMUI 8.0 user interface. The latest Huawei flagship is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 970 Chipset containing four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.4 Ghz and four Cortex-A-53 cores clocked at 1.8 Ghz.
Huawei Mate 10 also sports 20MP and 12 MP Camera sensors on the rear side. The flagship is powered by Li-Po 4000 mAh battery and performed very well in battery life tests.
According to GizmoChina, the chipset which powers the next flagship from Huawei will be built on 7nm process and uses Cortex A-75 cores. Huawei Mate 11 may also sport the AI chip similar to Mate 10 and Pixel 2. More details about the Mate 11 will be revealed in coming days.
