Processor and Ram
The Moto G6 Plus smart phone might be powered by Snapdragon 630 which is the latest chipset for mid-rangers. Qualcomm recently announced SD 630 SoC which is built on 14nm FinFET process. So Snapdragon 630 is more power efficient than its predecessor, according to Qualcomm. Snapdragon 630 is an Octa core SoC with Eight cores of ARM Cortex A-53 clocked up to 2.2 Ghz. Due to 14nm process, Snapdragon 630 may draw less battery and also more powerful than Snapdragon 625.
Snapdragon 630 contains Adreno 508 GPU, which is very powerful than its predecessor. Snapdragon 630 supports 4K Video recording at 30fps and FHD video recording upto 120 fps. Various improvements are made to the Camera Image sensor processor like 2x Image Sensor Processor (ISP), Qualcomm Spectra 160 image sensor processor(14-bit), Qualcomm Clear Sight camera and so on. So Moto G6 Plus can capture videos and pictures much faster with more details than Moto G5 Plus.
The chipset contains the X12 LTE modem and also supports enhanced VoLTE services and Quick Charge 4.0. The X12 LTE Modem of Snapdragon 630 supports Cat. 12 downlink speeds of up to 600MBps and Cat. 13 uplink speeds of up to 150Mbps. So Moto G6 Plus users can use HD Voice services and VoLTE services over supported networks.
The Snapdragon 630 SoC supports Bluetooth 5.0 which is a major upgrade over Bluetooth 4.0. New enhancements of the Bluetooth 5.0 technology include 4X Range 2X speed and 8x broadcasting message capacity compared to its predecessor. So with Bluetooth 5 we can transfer large files quickly and connect with more number of devices. New Bluetooth technology also fully supports Internet of Things. So the experience of IoT will be improved in Moto G6 Plus with Bluetooth 5.0 support.
Moto G6 Plus probably come in two Ram variants : 2GB Ram with 32GB internal memory and 4GB Ram with 64 GB internal memory. As 64GB storage variant comes with 4GB Ram, it will handle split screen multi tasking with out any lag. But 2GB Ram variant may lag some times while multitasking. But overall Moto G6 Plus may work smoothly and faster than its predecessors.
Moto G6 Plus might sport 16MP Rear Camera with Dual LED Flash. Motorola may use Sony IMX sensor in the rear camera to capture pictures with excellent quality. Aperture size will also be improved to shoot images and videos with wide angle. Other features like Auto HDR, Auto Exposure and Smart Burst also might be present in this upcoming mid ranger. Moto G6 Plus may sport 8MP front shooter. Rear camera can record videos at 1080p resolution and Front Camera can record videos at 720p resolution. Motorola Moto G6 Plus comes in two storage variants : 32GB and 64GB. Free space of 32GB internal memory variant is around 25GB and 64GB internal memory variant comes with free space around 57GB. Motorola may optimize the Android OS and pre-loaded apps to reduce the firmware size. So free space might be increased in the successor of Moto G5 Plus. Users can also expand storage by using MicroSD cards upto 128GB.
Previously, Motorola launched Moto G5 Plus with 3000mAh battery. So Moto G6 Plus may come with a bigger battery. Moto G6 Plus may come with Non-Removable Li-Ion battery with upto 3200mAh capacity. It also supports Quick Charge 3.0.

NFC (Near Field Communications) is a feature useful for making payments easily in a secure way. With Android Beam and NFC we can transfer image/video files, contact data and Maps data between two NFC enabled smart phones easily. Actually this feature is available only in High-end smartphones till now. Even the Moto Z flagship contains the NFC feature but some users have complained that it is not working well. Previously, there are some rumours about the NFC feature in Moto G5 Plus. But after the debut, it is confirmed that NFC is absent in Moto G5 Plus. So we may see the arrival of this feature to Moto G series with Moto G6 Plus.
Motorola recently unveiled its latest mid-ranger with inbuilt Android Nougat OS. Motorola always uses near stock android in its devices. So in Moto G6 Plus, Motorola may use the stock Android O operating system which is the next major revision of android. Android O runs smoother, faster and safer than Android Nougat. So G6 Plus runs much smoother and faster than its predecessor.
Android O is coming with many exciting features like new Notificiation channels, Adaptive icons, Picture in Picture and so on. Android O operating system is coming with new bluetooth audio codacs like LDAC, aptx. So Moto G6 Plus plays out high quality audio over bluetooth. These advanced audio codacs can be enabled through Developer options.
LDAC is codec from Sony which can transfer data at 990 kbps. aptx and aptx HD are high quality streaming protocols from Qualcomm. aptx HD supports 24-bit music quality over bluetooth.
