Exclusive Features of HTC U12

Qualcomm is going to implement Big.Little architecture in the chipset. Recent leaks also claim that four ARM Cortex A-75 and four A-55 cores are present in the chipset. Snapdragon 845 is built on second-gen 10nm FinFET LPP process for better power efficiency. Overall, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 is about 10% more powerful than its predecessor and consumes 15% lesser energy. The next flagship chipset includes the Adreno 6xx GPU and also X20 LTE Modem. X20 LTE Modem
According to Android Headlines, Snapdragon 845 SoC comes with X20 LTE Modem. Qualcomm announced the X20 Modem in February 2017 which supports great 4G speeds. X20 LTE Modem supports Cat. 18 download speeds up to 1.2 GBPS and Cat. 13 upload speeds up to 150 MBPS. The modem is built on 10nm FinFET process and supports 2x20MHz carrier aggregation. Qualcomm introduced Quick Charge 4+ which is an incremental upgrade over Quick Charge 4. New Quick Charge 4+ feature will come with Snapdragon 835 SoC. Qualcomm claims that Quick Charge 4+ will be 15 percent faster and 30 percent power efficient than its predecessor. With Quick Charge 4+, users can charge up to 50 percent in less than 15 minutes. Power dissipation through heat also reduced much in the latest iteration of Quick Charge.
Quick Charge 4+ also has advanced safety features which monitor case and Connector temperature. So it prevents short circuit and the damage of Type-C connector. With Intelligent thermal balancing, QC 4+ charges via coolest path and eliminates hot spots. Improved dual charge feature reduces charge time by about 15 percent compared to its predecessor. So the HTC U12 flagship will charge faster and also at cooler temperatures.
The Snapdragon 845 SoC supports Bluetooth 5.0 which is a major upgrade over Bluetooth 4.0. So HTC U12 will arrive with the Bluetooth 5.0 support. New enhancements of the Bluetooth 5.0 technology include 4X Range, 2X speed and 8x broadcasting message capacity compared to its predecessor. So with Bluetooth 5 we can transfer large files quickly and also connect with more number of devices concurrently. The latest Bluetooth technology fully supports Internet of Things. Some latest concepts of HTC U12 indicate that the flagship will come with the Dual Camera Sensor setup on both Front and Rear sides of the device. Recent reports suggest that Samsung, LG, Motorola and other tech giants are working on Dual Camera setup on the front and Rear sides. So it seems that HTC is also going in the same way. But we have to for the confirmation from the Taiwanese tech giant to believe in these concepts.
